Sweet Guimaras...

Last time, I had a chance yet again to visit the island province of Guimaras. Together with my friends from our choir group we set sail to Alubihod, clearly a place with one of the most beautiful beach in the country.

Cynthia, a friend who arrived from Italy was well, going back again. We scheduled this outing with her family and some of our choir friends. We left Iloilo Sunday afternoon and we guys met at the Iloilo wharf in Ortiz. We occupied a pumpboat that would take us directly to the place.

The trip took about 1 hour and a half to two hours, though the trip was far from boring since the coastal line of the island is very beautiful. From the gigantic rock formations to the crystal clear waters as well as the white sand beaches that frequented the coastal line.

After the boat docked at the sea side of Alubihod, we went to Raymen's Resort and asked if there are any available rooms or cottages in the place. We settled in Rico's Beach Resort which was I should say very bad compared to the other resorts in the place. Their resort has no proper restrooms, expensive yet substandard cottages, not enough supply of water and gigantic mosquitos. I would not recommend this place to the travelers.

Even though the place looks haphazard, since we got no choice we settled in that resort. We had a lot of fun coz we have a lot of barbeques, porkchops as well as a lot of liquors. The friends really enjoyed.

Here are some pictures taken during our farewell party to Cynthia...
