Is this True???

I got this pic from my friend's CP camera. She said that this was forwarded by a friend and it was taken during Dusk. I know that Manananggal exist because I have heard about their existence around the country. There have been reports that they have become very aggressive and would show themselves in the public's eye often.

Manananggals are preternatural creatures and they appear as normal people during the day. It is said that upon the arrival of night, they would put oil around their body and their bodies will split and they would sprout wings. They would hide their lower half in places that are secluded to protect it. If the lower half will exposed and somebody will put a mixture of salt and ash, they cannot reconnect. if they cannot reconnect and the sun will hit them they will burst to flame.

Crystal Moon

Crystals are one of the powerful conduits of magick. Since they are locked inside the belly of the Great Mother, they have soaked up a lot of energies readily available for us to harness. Since its the second day of the Full Moon, it is one of the proper time for us to charge, cleanse, and consecrate crystals. When looking for a crystal, it is better to have a raw crystal or an unpolished one. Look for crystals that correspond to your needs- Healing, Prosperity, Protection, etc.

There are a lot of websites and books on gemstone correspondence, but what Im gonna teach you now is how to consecrate the gems. 1. Look for Crystals that attune to your energy. There are a lot of gemstones that has the same capability, so you need to scan the stone if it resonates to your energy. 2. Wash the crystal under a flowing water to remove its negative energies. 3. Put the crystal in a bowl of water with rock salt and charge it under the light of the full moon. 4. Get the stone and wipe it with clean cloth. 5. Program the crystal to resonate on your desired action that it will do, may it be healing, protection, etc. 6. Always wear the crystal and let it touch your skin as much as possible. There are a lot of ways on how to cleanse and program the gem, from a simple thought programming to an elaborate ritual programming. Do it your own way, or if not choose the best way that works for you!

Blessed Be!

My Altar...Under the Violet Moon

The altar is the center of worship, even though how simple your altar is, it is very important to have one. It is where the threads of magick are weaved and the spells were sent.

My altar is very simple, it is on the top part of my makeshift book rack. I have a Goddess and a God Candle, the statue of the Goddess, my rattle and flute, incense, candles with their holders, incenses, oils, chalice, wands, athame, some stones and other stuff. The backdrop is a Ragnarok Poster though...hehehehehe.

Here is my altar lit for the impromptu celebration of the Chill Moon...

The February Esbat- Chill Moon

"O Hail Fair Moon, Ruler of Night...Guard me and mine until the Light" - Wiccan Chant

The Moon is full again, this night the tides of magick is at its peak hence the powers of the Goddess is at the full. The moon, long been associated to the mysteries and the forces of the magick and the feminine cycles is now at its peak again.

The month of February's full moon is called the Snow Moon since this is the month that Snow is the heaviest in snow countries. Since the Snow Moon is between the Festival of Imbolc, the feast of the Flame and Ostara or the Vernal Equinox, it is said that this time the earth is preparing to spread fertility. The seeds under layers of snow are preparing to shoot back up and out the freezing barren earth.

In the Philippines however, there is no snow so I would call this full moon as Chill Moon since this is the time where the creeping chill of the wind kisses everyone on the cheek.

Still, the moon's majesty captivates me everytime I look at the Goddess' face. It still stimulates the flow of power in my body. I will post the pictures of my Chill Moon Ritual later, if I am able to capture it on my CP Camera.
