The Art of Defying Destiny

A lot of people said that life has so many things that cannot be defied. Things that are written in the stars, in the shape of your face or the lines in your hand. However in my opinion there is no such thing as luck, we make things happen either by sheer determination, hardwork or even Divine Intervention. Many events happen in our lives and many of them are undesirable. When something bad happen we blame it on Fate, if something good came up we credit ourself for it. Why can't we be responsible individuals who will credit everything that happened to our own doing. Whether we unconsciously or consciously made it happen...it is us, its always us!

The very nature of a human being to choose, is affecting the course of this so-called destiny. Some of the choices though are said to be planned out, a face up card, but again choices are there to direct us to which path to tread.

The choice is yours and yours alone. In the movie "Evita" , Madonna sang Lament-" The choice was mine, and mine completely. I could have any prize that I desired, I could burn with the splendor of the brightest fire...Or else, or else I could choose time."
