I rose up amongst the clouds,

Cawing with a shriek so loud.

Crying out for the change we need,

All ignored because of greed

I watched and listened and learn

About what people wanted and yearned

Yet all my hope has turned to fear

When all of these fell to deaf ears

I saw people moving on

Like ever walking automaton

Going on the lives they lead

Working to death so the pigs may feed

I shouted loudly to the sky

Waiting for other crows to fly

Until a murder will be formed

One strong enough to weather the storm

I know I'm small, one of the few

Insignificant crows who perched and flew

But I know crows are very wise

We will flock, ascend and rise
